We're an incubator of operators.
Most AI products are built by people who've never done the work they're trying to automate. We're the opposite. MuleHair Labs is a team of former educators, providers, and operators building tools for the industries we've actually lived in.
Our flagship work is in special education - a field where staff are over-documented, under-resourced, and routinely failed by software that wasn't designed for them. But our model isn't industry-specific. We partner with any business that has a real, repeatable problem where generic AI hasn't been enough.
We build for problems that meet four tests.
Domain-specific
The problem only makes sense if you've worked in the industry. Generic tools have already tried and failed.
Time-stealing
Real, measurable hours lost every week to tasks that aren't the actual job.
Repeatable
The same shape of work, over and over. Worth automating because it never stops.
AI-appropriate
AI earns its place by drafting, classifying, summarizing, or surfacing. Not by deciding.
Built with you, not at you.
When we take on a new domain, we sit with the people doing the work. We map the actual workflow, find where time disappears, and build small, focused tools that fit inside what's already there. No forklift replacements. No "platform" for its own sake. Just software that earns its keep.
